Fulfillment Supervisor, 2nd Shift

Our team is maniacally focused on powering healthy horses and happy riders. The 2nd shift Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for managing the order fulfillment team to provide excellent customer service in order to meet established objectives. They will support continuous improvements in the order fulfillment process and work with cross functional teams. Daily operations include order-filling, stock moves or inventory control tasks, order-packing, and shipping. This position reports to the Fulfillment Manager.
Standard hours for 2nd shift are 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday. Occasional weekend and holiday sale coverage is required. 
The Nitty Gritty:
  • Plan and oversee all Fulfillment center activity including picking, packing, shipping, personalization, replenishment and end of day processes to ensure customer compliance and accuracy while meeting all shipping deadlines.
  • Develop, coach and mentor employees. Ensure training, development and engagement are in place for the team.
  • Manage staffing process via screening, selection, training, development and evaluation.
  • Manage the temporary workforce levels and requirements.
  • Control implementation of policies, practices, and procedures to ensure outcome and results are in accordance with plans for all warehouse processes.
  • Responsible for keeping work areas clean, organized, safe and well maintained.
  • Make recommendations for improvements and work within the Fulfillment center.
  • Provide Production reporting.
  • Perform special projects.
  • Supervises development and performance of 40+ fulfillment center associates.
  • Understands all safety procedures and ensures safe work practices are followed and maintained.
How you’ve done it before (experience + qualifications):
  • 6+ years of warehouse/fulfillment experience, specifically in a picking/shipping environment
  • At least one year of warehouse/fulfillment supervisory experience is required
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting a WCS system
  • Carousel experience and/or experience supervising employees who work on a high pick forklift is a plus
  • Well organized and able to multi-task and to perform under pressure
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to maintain a team environment
  • Experience working across departmental lines to achieve goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Access, Excel and Word
